Urban loom is a short conceptual project that explores the idea of architectural landscapes being created from a large loom. The loom would weave flowing landscapes with a mix of natural and man made materials that intersects between gaps in cities and environments.
The 3 collages created for the project explore the idea on 3 scales. The first scale is a large plan overview of an urban environment with the loom creating an organic flow in-between two areas. The second collage is a view of the looms with the landscape being printed; the looms are fueled by large floating tanks of waist materials from the city. The final collage is a detail of the loom components with the landscape spewing out.
