Arcadian Concepts: Day is a sister project of Arcadian Concepts: Night that explores similar spatial properties under different lighting conditions. This project also changes the juxtapositions of materials and shapes, looking into a series of arrangements that reconfigure each module into a series of different structures.
The emphasis on this exercise was to utilize the reflection of daylight and assess how it affects the material properties of each panel. This created a layered texture of light within the reflections of the glass. When comparing the two projects it became apparent how different forms of light manipulate and change the sensations of space.
